We had baby #2- Dakota Addison Mellinger! So now Chris is living with 3 red-headed girls/women- wish him luck 
Unfortunately, we’re not a family of 6 (including fur-babies) because we lost our “first fur-baby” Honeybrown on November 10, 2011.

We’re expecting baby #2 so we’ll soon be a family of 6 (including our fur-babies!)

We now live in PA again. We decided to move to be closer to family for the time being. Being back in PA is certainly a big adjustment but the benefits of living close to family are worth it!

I live in Colorado with my husband Chris and our 2 dogs- Nittany (a golden retriever) and Honeybrown (a chocolate lab- and yes, she was named after the beer). Nittany was named after Chris’ and my alma mater’s mascot- the Nittany Lion! We both graduated from Penn State in 1999 and moved to CO shortly after- Chris in Jan. 2000 and me in Sept. 2000.
We were married in August 2001 in Pennsylvania (since that’s where both of our families are primarily from) and absolutely love living in Colorado. We try to take advantage of everything this state has to offer- skiing, hiking, biking, etc.
The latest goings-on in our lives include Chris being a part-time ski instructor at Copper Mountain for the 3rd winter and becoming a little family in July 2009 when we welcomed our daughter, Skylar Madison, into the world. She was 5lbs 13oz and 18 3/4″ long when she was born but perfectly healthy- just tiny She has been a joy in our lives and we love watching her learn about everything around her.
